Volunteering At Sunshine's Friends

We always need volunteers to help with various activities.
- Care for cats at the sanctuary
- Care for cats at community colonies
- Foster cats/ kittens in your home
- Trap/ Neuter/ Return (TNR) community cats
- Build community shelters & feeding stations
CURRENT VOLUNTEERS:
We use WhenToHelp.com to manage our volunteers' schedules. It lets everyone see their current and future schedules, trade times, schedule time off, and make sure all the shifts are covered.

Your Donations Are Tax-Deductible Sunshine's Friends Cat Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt animal welfare organization recognized by the IRS, so your donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
DONATIONS IN KIND
We are always in need of donations of items to care for the cats at the shelter.

We are a private non-profit organization, so we rely on donations from the public to maintain operations. We are an IRS 501(c)(3) public charity, so your contributions can be tax deductible.

Become a Cat or Dog Foster Family
Many of our cats and especially our dogs need social connections and time to ascertain and correct any health concerns they might have. The best way to do this is to have the animal live with a family who provides support, documents behaviors, and with monetary support from Sunshine's Friends, ensures that all health issues are resolved. Most cats live in foster homes for about two weeks whereas our dogs will live with their fosters until forever homes are found for them.
