Volunteering At Sunshine's Friends

- Care for cats at the sanctuary
- Care for cats at community colonies
- Foster cats/ kittens in your home
- Trap/ Neuter/ Return (TNR) community cats
- Build community shelters & feeding stations
CURRENT VOLUNTEERS:
We use WhenToHelp.com to manage our volunteers' schedules. It lets everyone see their current and future schedules, trade times, schedule time off, and make sure all the shifts are covered.

Your Donations Are Tax-Deductible Sunshine's Friends Cat Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt animal welfare organization recognized by the IRS, so your donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

We are always in need of donations of items to care for the cats at the shelter.

Become a Cat or Dog Foster Family
Many of our cats and especially our dogs need social connections and time to ascertain and correct any health concerns they might have. The best way to do this is to have the animal live with a family who provides support, documents behaviors, and with monetary support from Sunshine's Friends, ensures that all health issues are resolved. Most cats live in foster homes for about two weeks whereas our dogs will live with their fosters until forever homes are found for them.

Dog Of the Month: Oboe
Oboe is a very loving and sweet dog and would be best suited for someone who has a yard or an active adopter who could take him on runs or play throw-and-retrieve games. He also loves water. He will step right into the bathtub and wait for you to give him a shower.
Senior Of the Month: Pebbles
Meet our Super Sweet Senior of the Week.
Pebbles is 12 years young and would love to be someones, special girl. She will be happiest as an only cat child but is great with human children. Pebbles is in good health and always uses her litter pan.
